About us

True Mobile Bike Mechanics started as an idea built by riders who wanted to make a living doing what they love in the Sea to Sky. We’re lucky to live and work in an area that is a true mecca for mountain biking. As cycling has continued to grow in popularity, it has allowed us to build this small business serving riders throughout Squamish and Whistler.

We specialize in mountain bikes, but we work on all types of bike repairs. Today, we’ve grown to two vans, with one based in Squamish and one in Whistler, servicing both communities full-time from April through September. We’re proud to stay true to the mobile service model because so many riders tell us how convenient it is for them.

We take pride in our mechanical skills and our approach to the trade. Every repair is completed according to manufacturer recommendations, and we are always pushing ourselves to keep learning and working to the highest industry standards. Our CycleTech certifications reflect that commitment.

Thank you for supporting us and allowing us to continue making a living through this incredible sport and community.

What Motivates Us?

It’s no secret the type of riders and terrain that define our community.

The Sea to Sky is a world-renowned destination, offering some of the most challenging, aesthetic, and technical riding anywhere.

Mountain biking is also a highly mechanical sport. Unlike many others, it relies on your equipment performing at near 100%—especially when you’re pushing into more demanding terrain.

You need to trust your bike to perform and match your riding ability. That trust builds confidence, and confidence is what allows you to progress.

Beyond progression, safety is critical. We make sure you can rely on your bike and its components, helping you avoid failures—or at the very least, a long walk out of the trail.

While mechanicals can’t be eliminated entirely, proper diagnostics, regular maintenance, and using the right components for your riding style go a long way.
