Our Standards
Biking is a mechanical sport, and these are the standards we strive to uphold with every service — because confidence on the bike comes from trusting your parts and equipment.
Wheels
Correct air pressure and acceptable tire wear. No damage to spokes or rims. Tires are holding air properly with tubes or tubeless setups. Even spoke tension with properly trued wheels. Freehub ratchets smoothly. No play or wobble in the bearings.
Brakes
Fluid flushed with fresh brake fluid. No air in the system. Brake pads and rotors are above 20% remaining life. Calipers are centered on the rotor with no rubbing. Brake levers adjusted to rider preference. Braking power meets rider demand.
Drivetrian
Derailleur is adjusted to the cassette with all limit screws properly set. Chain wear is checked, and a new chain is recommended if wear is excessive. No skipping on the cassette, with clean one-shift-per-click operation. Shifter cable and housing are inspected and not excessively corroded.
Suspension
Suspension adjustments are functioning correctly. Seals are not leaking and are serviced through cleaning and seal replacement as needed. A basic service is recommended every 50 hours of riding, and a full service every 150 hours. Air pressure, rebound, and other adjustments are set to rider weight and preference.
Frame
Bearings move smoothly in all pivots with no side-to-side play or excessive free movement that could damage the frame. Other wear parts, such as the bottom bracket and headset, are clean, greased, and moving smoothly. All bolts on the bike are torqued to the correct specifications.
Dropper Post
Dropper post lever is actuating the dropper post accurately. The dropper post moves up and down smoothly with minimal resistance, and there is no dirt buildup or discoloration on the post.
